Earlier this week, Huawei put on an exciting launch event where they made some big revelations. Among the products presented were the Enjoy 60 smartphone, the MatePad 11 (2023) with Harmony OS, and FreeBuds 5 TWS earbuds.
Enjoy 60
Huawei’s Enjoy 60 provides a good balance between value and features. It features a sizeable 6.75-inch TFT LCD display with 720p resolution, a 48MP primary camera, and a powerful 6,000 mAh battery. Furthermore, the device runs Harmony OS 3.0 out of the box and a 22.5W charger is also included. Despite all these features, Huawei has yet to disclose the phone’s processor specifications.
You can buy the phone in three stylish shades, Magic Night Black, Ice Crystal Blue, and Dawn Gold, each available with either 128 or 256 GB of internal memory. Right now, the phone is being offered in China for an attractive starting price of $190.
MatePad 11 2023
The MatePad 11 (2023) has been added to Huawei’s tablet collection for the year, offering a mid-range choice. With an 11-inch IPS LCD featuring a resolution of 2560 × 1600 and a 120Hz refresh rate, it is backed by a Snapdragon 870 chipset, available in 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM configurations, along with 128 GB/256 GB of storage. The tablet is driven by HarmonyOS 3.
Beginning at $322, the MatePad 11 (2023) will be accessible in four distinctive colors: Obsidian Black, Island Blue, Crystal White, and Streamer Purple.
FreeBuds 5
Huawei’s FreeBuds 5 stand out due to their in-ear design without any silicone tips. Offering the L2HC and LDAC codecs for hi-res audio streaming, these wireless buds also feature active noise cancellation (ANC), dynamic EQ tuning, and spatial audio (only accessible through HarmonyOS 3 devices).
These earbuds are engineered with 11mm LCP dual magnetic drivers, providing users with multi-point pairing and intuitive touch control with Bluetooth 5.2. An impressive 30-hour total battery life with the charging case can be easily recharged with USB-C or wirelessly, and its IP54 rating offers protection against dust and splashes. Moreover, the earbuds provide 5 hours of listening time on their own.
Huawei’s FreeBuds 5 come in three colors – Frost Silver, Ceramic White, and Coral Orange – and are offered at a cost of $132 in China.
