Prison School Season 2 Renewal Status
At present, there is no news from J.C. Staff Studio regarding the renewal or cancellation of the series. The current status of the show is still pending. However, it’s highly likely that a second season will be produced due to the show’s overall popularity and the fact that there is still a lot of material left to cover from the manga. The first season concluded in September of 2015, but not all of the manga’s content was adapted. In fact, the 28th chapter was released on April 6, 2018, indicating that there is still a lot more story to be told. Despite the eight-year gap, it’s unclear whether J.C. Staff has given up on the project.
Naoyuki Uchida, an author of mystery and horror novels, reached out to Tsutomu Mizushima, the director of Prison School and SHIROBAKO, on Twitter to inquire about a potential second season. In response, Mizushima provided a reply.
“Thank you for being a consistent viewer since SHIROBAKO! As for a second season, I am uncertain. While I would love to do it, I feel a bit hesitant… (insert embarrassed face emoji).”
Since this conversation happened five years ago, much has been altered since then.

Prison School Season 2 Release Date
