ViewSonic, a Californian hardware producer, is launching a new selection of portable displays specially designed for professional creators such as visual artists, architects, 3D modelers, and graphic designers. The company is renowned for its quality displays and is aiming to strengthen its status with this most recent range.
The company’s newest selection of pen tablets encompasses the top-of-the-line ID1230, as well as the graphical slates PF720 and PF1020. What sets the ID1230 apart is its active display and color capabilities, boasting up to 90% Adobe RGB and 85% NTSC, granting users “studio-grade color performance”.
Drawing Tablet
Among the lightest of its kind, the 12-inch tablet weighs a mere 600g. Not far behind, two more tablets offer feather-light weights of 190g and 380g for the PF720 and PF1020, respectively. All of them are loaded with advanced technology such as a digitizer pen that provides 8,192-level pressure sensitivity and tilt support of ±60°.
ViewSonic’s latest portable pen tablets feature hotkeys for various shortcuts and are USB Type-C compatible for charging, data transfer, or screen mirroring, and work with any current PC or 4K monitor. For optimal output, the company recommends using its own ColorPro external display. These innovative tablets are soon to be available and competitively priced.
